Bottomfish fishing charters departing from Neah Bay, Washington.

Bottomfish Season

Bottomfish season for Neah Bay, Area 4, starts in March. We launch from Neah Bay, WA.

Limit 7 Rockfish, 2 Lingcod. Rockfish are 2 to 7 lbs depending on species. Lingcod weigh anywhere from 4 to 40 lbs.

Halibut Fishing Charters departing from Neah Bay, Washington.

Halibut Season

Limit 1 halibut and 2 deep water lingcod (or 7 rockfish). We usually fish 400 to 700 feet. Average is 500.

The average weight is 30 lbs +, however, it is not uncommon to have a couple fish on board over 40 to 60lbs.

We do use electric reels, high-quality, custom-made Rods from Prolite.

Salmon Season starts late June.

We launch from Neah Bay, WA.

Chinook range from 10 to 35 lbs. Coho range 5 to 10 lbs.

We only launch from Westport WA for Albacore Tuna fishing.

About your Captain

Fred Walker

I have over 30 years experience in fishing Neah Bay and surrounding areas and am a Coast Guard certified, licensed Captain.

About our Boat

Seats 6 adults comfortably. Separate cubicle private head. Sink with hot and cold water wash up. Boat runs with twin 150 Yamaha outboards and 25hp Yamaha kicker.

Safety: Everyone wears self inflated life vests (provided). Fire extinguishers are available as well.

Fishing gear: Tanacom 750’s reels for deep sea fishing. All rods on board are custom Prolite rod technology. We use mooching style reels for salmon fishing and spinning reels for Bottom fishing (rock fish).
